HISTORY OF JANTA VIDYA BHAWAN

To cater the growing needs of the vocational and general education of the people of the rural area, Janta Vidya Bhawan, Butana was started in 1952 as a school education. Ch. Dhajja Ram played a leading role in the establishment of this institute. The institute has a sprawling campus spread in area of 50 acres, totally pollution free the campus boasts of spacious lawns and well raid roads. The institute started the training classes like J.B.T., drawing classes etc. to enable the youth of this area to get the in various govt. departments. In 1977 a job oriented diploma course in pharmacy, diploma in polytechnic in 2004 and bachelor degree in pharmacy in 2009 was started in this institute to cater the need of technical education. The institute endeavors for the fast academic to face the challenges of the 21st century through comprehensive training and excellent education delivery system.

HISTORY OF JANTA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

Janta College of Pharmacy is duly approved by AICTE (All India Council for technical education) and affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma Health University of Science HSBTE, Punchkula and also approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India). It offers 4 year undergraduate course in pharmacy and 2 years diploma course in Highly competent, qualified and dedicated in their own respective fields. The institute has academic excellence and this caters to the needs of the students.
